Dot Net Developer

Description

Looking for a .NET Developer to produce scalable software solutions as per business requirement. The individual would be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a .NET Developer, the individual should be comfortable with relevant coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. The position demands excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and applicants must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The individual has hands-on experience in technologies as detailed in the Knowledge and Skills Section.

Job Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

• Develop and manage well-functioning applications
• Writing clean, functional code
• Work with development teams to ideate software solutions
• Ensure compliance with information security policies, standards, procedures & guidelines
• Effective communication with team & customer at all levels
• Support including bug fixes
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Team player

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework
• Experience working with web development technologies such as ASP.NET web form and MVC
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET programming languages like C# and Visual Basic .NET
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

• Master's / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field.
• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in application development, including over 2+ years of hands-on experience with .NET (both Framework and Core).
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management.
• Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
• Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
• Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications.
