Position Overview
We are seeking a Substitute Instructor to provide temporary instructional support in our Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program. Reporting to the Campus Director, the Substitute Instructor will deliver curriculum-based instruction in the absence of the regular faculty member, ensuring continuity in student learning and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings as needed.
- Follow established lesson plans and curriculum provided by the Program Chair or full-time instructor.
- Maintain a supportive and professional learning environment.
- Monitor student participation and provide guidance to support academic success.
- Ensure timely completion of any required instructional documentation.
Qualifications
- RDMS certification in OB/GYN, abdomen/superficial structures, and physics (required).
- Minimum 3 years of full-time experience as a Sonographer or equivalent.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to step into instructional roles on short notice.
