Placed under the authority of the Minister of the Armed Forces, the Commissariat au Numérique de Défense (CND) provides powerful and resilient digital support for operations and facilitates the construction of tomorrow's combat system around digital technology and data. It provides digital support enabling the Ministry of the Armed Forces to operate daily, manages its allocated credits, and reports on results to the National Representation. The CND directs, operates, and supports infrastructure networks, the shared ministerial digital base, and the information and communication systems entrusted to it. The Pôle Accompagnement et Expertises Projets (POAEP) exercises these prerogatives across the entire CND, aiming to improve services offered to users and the operator's tools.
