Teaching music is at the heart of this role, where you will guide students in DJ skills while continuing your own performance activities. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular lessons tailored to the goals and levels of your students
- Implement trial lessons for newcomers to the school
- Provide necessary information about lesson methods and school structure after trial lessons
Requirements
- Proven experience as an active club DJ or extensive DJ experience in the field
- Proficient in professional DJ equipment, able to teach improvisation, advanced scratching, and tone play
- Knowledgeable in booking, sound, and stage production necessary for professional DJs
- Capable of assessing students' challenges and providing logical and practical technical guidance
- Able to confirm goals and deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Committed to following rules regarding assigned slots, communication, documentation, and safety
Nice to have:
- Experience in music lessons, individual instruction, and customer service
- Experience in live DJ performances, track selection, and mix production
