Dispensary Fulfillment Manager

About This Role

Managing and controlling the dispensary's fulfillment process is the core of this role, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance and operational excellence. The Fulfillment Manager will work collaboratively with the Inventory Manager to monitor product quality, check expiration dates, and maintain smooth fulfillment workflows. This role also includes opening and closing responsibilities, assisting with inventory counts, supporting inventory management systems, and streamlining picking and storage processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the fulfillment team to ensure overall compliance and efficiency with inventory flow and operations
• Lead and manage the picking and pulling of products for orders, ensuring timely and accurate selection
• Oversee inventory levels, optimize space utilization and organization to maximize team efficiency and accuracy
• Establish and execute process improvements, efficiencies, and best practices
• Assist with maintaining product quality standards, including checking expiration dates and handling storage requirements
• Manage the overall inventory flow and efficient operations
• Ensure all fulfillment team members are trained, coached, and accountable in all fulfillment functions, including "Runner", "Picker", "Scanner", and "Teams Comms"
• Create, maintain, and distribute inventory reports and maintain accurate records in inventory management systems
• Investigate and resolve minor inventory discrepancies
• Comply with dispensary policies, including local and state regulations and security protocols
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized storage area to optimize space and accessibility
• Assist and manage routine inventory audits to support overall compliance and accuracy
• Stay updated on product types and basic industry knowledge to support informed inventory management
• Backfill vault roles due to employee call outs
• Perform all functions within the seed to sale tracking systems
• Foster a culture of professionalism, guiding teams to achieve optimal results
• Promote a culture of teamwork and inclusion while providing support and guidance to the team and providing feedback to management
• Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources Department and appropriate partners to implement and manage the company's policies and procedures
• Retain and develop top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback
• Train, coach, and lead the team in all dispensary retail associate functions, sales goals, and KPIs
• Address low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies
• Perform all other duties as necessary
