About This Role

Working in a fast-paced buffet environment, the Dishwasher ensures the kitchen runs smoothly by keeping dishes, pans, and buffet utensils clean and readily available for guests. This role is crucial for maintaining the restaurant's operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all buffet pans, pizza trays, utensils, cups, and kitchen equipment using a commercial dishwashing machine and 3-compartment sink
• Clean and restock plates, bowls, silverware, and cups at the buffet line
• Empty kitchen trash cans, sweep and mop kitchen floors, and ensure the dish area remains organized, clean, and safe
• Help the kitchen crew with basic prep work, like unboxing inventory or wiping down food prep stations during slower periods
• Follow all local health department regulations and restaurant safety standards

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working around heat, steam, and wet environments
• Team player attitude with a willingness to help out where needed
• Flexibility to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• No prior experience required—training will be provided
