Director, Training

This position focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive training strategy and managing learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive organization-wide training and development strategy
• Assess learning needs and create training solutions that align with organizational goals and priorities
• Design and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, blended, and e-learning programs
• Research emerging trends and technologies in learning and development and incorporate best practices into training initiatives
• Create engaging training content for leadership, professional, technical, and administrative staff
• Establish annual training priorities and learning curricula in partnership with organizational leadership
• Coordinate internal and external training opportunities while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and processes
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and content providers to deliver best-in-class learning experience
• Oversee the administration and optimization of learning management systems, including Workday Learning, Pathwright, and other platforms
• Manage training assignments, completion tracking, reporting, and employee learning records
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement, configure, and maintain learning technologies
• Analyze training outcomes and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
• Use data-driven insights to continuously enhance learning programs and employee development initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in: Adult Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Leadership or a related field
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in training, learning and development, organizational development, or human resources
• Proven strategic thinking skills with the ability to assess business needs and design impactful learning solutions aligned with organizational goals
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide training programs
• Experience administering learning management systems and learning technologies
• Advanced expertise in learning and development principles and adult learning methodologies
• Outstanding written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
