Director, Talent Acquisition

About This Role

Directing talent acquisition for a newly established, well-funded company based in Singapore is the core of this role. The Director will build and lead a best-in-class talent acquisition function from the ground up, focusing on high-growth, international hiring across the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Build the talent acquisition function from the ground up as the organization's first talent acquisition hire
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for experienced and senior executive hires
• Establish strategy, processes, systems, and capabilities to support international growth
• Serve as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on hiring strategy, talent market insights, and succession planning
• Proactively identify and engage critical talent across key markets
• Build out the talent acquisition function as the organization scales
• Strengthen employer positioning
• Introduce scalable, data-driven recruitment practices to support future growth

Requirements

• Degree qualified talent acquisition leader
• Proven track record of building and scaling recruitment capabilities in high-growth, international environments
• Experience from both large, complex multinational organizations and start-up or scale-up environments
• Ability to create structure, processes, and capability where these are still evolving
• Led end-to-end recruitment across multiple levels and markets
• Strong personal experience in senior executive hiring
• Commercially astute and highly credible with senior stakeholders
• Combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, resourceful approach
• Thrive in environments characterized by growth, pace, and change
