About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director- RWD Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This role will guide real-world evidence and outcomes research efforts across the development and commercialization lifecycle. The Director will shape research strategy for compounds within the therapeutic area, ensuring the science generated is relevant, credible, and aligned to evidence needs. This position will also partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings and influence how health outcomes research is generated and applied.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $165,000 – $290,400 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead integration of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) from development to commercialization
- Formulate and oversee research strategies for compounds within the therapeutic area
- Develop impactful science to support evidence needs and improve patient outcomes
- Communicate health outcomes information effectively to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and influence factors affecting health outcomes research generation and use
Qualifications
- Doctorate (PhD, MD) in a relevant discipline with 5+ years of experience in outcomes strategies and projects
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Real World Data and proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, or Python
- Strong comprehension and communication skills to convey complex scientific information clearly
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Understanding of healthcare systems in regions such as the US, Europe, or Asia
