About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, People Experience to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will shape the employee experience strategy across performance, compensation, listening, communications, and engagement programs. The director will partner closely with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to turn employee insights into scalable actions that improve clarity, adoption, and connection across the organization. The position also plays a key role in advancing change management efforts, including the rollout of GenAI tools and employee resource group structures.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $191,000 – $265,300 annually

Responsibilities

  • Own and enhance performance and compensation cycles for a seamless employee experience
  • Lead the employee listening strategy, providing actionable insights from survey data
  • Drive adoption of GenAI tools among employees through strategic change management
  • Create and manage an enterprise employee engagement calendar for clear communication
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline communication of employee programs
  • Define and support employee resource groups with structured operating models
  • Identify and strategize for unaddressed employee needs, building scalable solutions
  • Translate insights into concise recommendations for leadership

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in employee experience, internal communications, or organizational change
  • Proven ability to manage complex, enterprise-wide programs requiring cross-functional alignment
  • Strong strategic and systems thinking with experience translating ambiguity into actionable plans
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Highly developed relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data to extract insights
  • Detail-oriented with high execution standards and a willingness to engage in hands-on work
