About This Role
Directing the day-to-day operational activities and implementing strategies to ensure efficient order fulfillment, transportation, contract manufacturing, warehousing, inventory management, procurement, and product development is the core of this role. This position works closely with management, sales, and accounting to meet customer demand, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support continued business growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee sales order processing and fulfillment
- Manage contract manufacturing and production planning
- Lead inventory management and procurement activities
- Oversee supply chain, warehousing, and distribution operations
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiations
- Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Lead product development initiatives
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Monitor operational performance, costs, and key performance indicators
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and margins
- Collaborate cross-functionally with management, sales, accounting, and other teams
- Ensure operational processes support customer demand and business objectives
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or operations
- Experience with contract manufacturing, project management, cost accounting, quality, and regulatory functions; S&OP/demand planning, warehousing and distribution, inventory management, and procurement
- Bachelor
- Experience within the CPG industry required
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and functions
- Experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts
- Strong knowledge of CPG and warehouse operations best practices and KPIs
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word Intermediate Excel skills, including formatting, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables
