About This Role
Designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for team members is the core responsibility of this Director of Training role. This position involves developing team members into world-class leaders and service professionals through various training initiatives. It suits a passionate leader with strong communication skills and a strategic mindset for people development.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs for all positions
- Develop and mentor trainers, shift leaders, and managers in instructional best practices
- Ensure consistent onboarding and continuous development for new and existing Team Members
- Partner with Directors to assess performance gaps and provide training solutions
- Manage training resources, manuals, and digital platforms
- Monitor and measure training effectiveness, adjusting as needed
- Foster a culture of learning, growth, and excellence across the restaurant
Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience in training, hospitality, education, or people development
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop others
- Organizational and systems-driven mindset
