About This Role

Directing sales and marketing for a dual-brand, high-volume airport property is the core of this role, leading the commercial engine of Novotel & ibis Styles Melbourne Airport. This position suits a commercially sharp, results-driven leader with deep market expertise and an instinct for securing business, who can drive revenue with energy and precision.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue across all segments, including Corporate, Domestic, Leisure, Conferencing (internal and external), and Incentive business, then sustain, maximise, yield, and grow each segment to hit and exceed budgeted revenue
• Own the strategy, read market conditions with a commercial eye, develop sharp strategies for the business unit, and implement them with the pace and precision a high-performance environment demands
• Lead the Business, Events and Groups Department, coaching, motivating, and growing the team to unlock every opportunity in this thriving sector, from intimate boardroom sessions to large-scale conferences and events
• Steer the Digital, Marketing and PR function, overseeing all activity across digital channels, marketing campaigns, and public relations, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Accor's brand guidelines and standards, while championing the venues, precinct partnerships, and the unique personality of both brands
