Director of Rehab - All Disciplines

Paradigm at First Colony in Missouri City, TX has an amazing opportunity for Director of Rehab. A Texas licensed PT, OT, COTA, PTA, or SLP is required for this position. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year experience as Director of Rehab in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits
• Plans accordingly and coordinates schedules to achieve maximum efficiency staff based on clinical needs and treatment activity of staff members
• Works pro-actively to build, manage, and schedule PRN pool, as needed
• Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancement as indicated
• Engages in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, performance appraisals
• Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members
• Prompt preparation and delivery of any regular or ad hoc reports; as well as the ability to analyze, interpret, and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis

Skills:

• Previous leadership experience preferred
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities

Required licensure:

• Current Therapy License in the State of Texas.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
