Director of Product Management

About This Role

Directing product management involves taking ownership of building and maintaining mindshare, as well as ensuring the overall commercial success of designated product lines within the GetWireless sales and support team, and with external Channel Partners and customers. This includes presales engineering support, training, maintaining program and technical documentation, and delivering training content to integrators, end customers, and partners. This position supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the "technical close" in complex solutions related to supported product lines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commercial success and captured mindshare of key stakeholders for designated product line(s)
• Provide presales solutions support to key stakeholders including sales and approved Channel Partners for assigned product lines
• Assist in developing and maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials
• Build and maintain complex price lists
• Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements
• Assess customer's met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the organization
• Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams
• Provide coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills
• Support RFPs for Complex Cellular Gateway and Boosting Solutions Bids
• Deliver instructor-led classroom/conference room training to partners and end-user customers on a regular schedule throughout the U.S.
• Conduct webinars and on-site training for both groups and individuals
• Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
• Assist in the development of formalized Training and Train-the-Trainer programs for designated product line solutions targeted to sales, technical teams, and end customers
• Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, etc.
• Observe and evaluate results of training programs
• Build training programs and deliver training to the internal teams at GetWireless (Sales, Technical, Marketing, etc.)
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical resources to facilitate this task
• Assist in the design and build-out of demo devices for use at trade shows and events
• Build channel proficiency in presenting the value-add propositions of designated products in their related vertical markets
• Collaborate and cooperate with all other members of the Product Management team
• Perform other related duties as requested
