Director of Maintenance

About This Role

This role involves protecting and maintaining the brand as Director of Maintenance, enriching and impacting lives in the Lake Worth area. You will be a steward of equipment and vendor relationships, supporting the Director team to ensure consistent operations. The position suits a leader who values precise work and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be a champion of the company's Purpose, Mission, and Values
• Learn the responsibility matrix for equipment issues
• Oversee exterior lot and general building maintenance
• Coordinate with Chick-fil-A Corp and vendors for specialized repairs
• Learn in-store equipment, maintenance requirements, and ensure proactive maintenance
• Follow a monthly routine to ensure equipment, building, and exterior lot meet brand standards
• Help leadership expedite equipment and maintenance issues
• Own R&M decisions and communicate with the Owner
• Maintain various reports and perform general administrative duties related to repairs
• Control general expenses within scope of work to avoid incremental profit opportunity issues

Requirements

• Generally considered handy with maintenance, even of unfamiliar equipment
• General understanding of HVAC and power equipment for troubleshooting and general maintenance
• Willingness to learn on the job to increase knowledge of all store equipment and maintenance
• High integrity and character
• Optimistic in adversity
• Values precise work and attention to details
• Ability to interact well with internal and external customers, employees, and vendors in a highly professional manner
• Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism to handle sensitive information and private materials concerning the organization
