Recruitment Specialist Opportunity: IT Director of Global Infrastructure
I am currently partnering with a prominent global leader in the specialty chemicals industry to identify an experienced IT Director to oversee their critical infrastructure operations. This high impact leadership role is based at the company headquarters in Morris Plains, New Jersey.
My client is looking for a strategic leader to manage their international Cloud, Datacenter, Networking, and Database teams. You will be tasked with ensuring that all core services, including compute and storage, are established and maintained to achieve flawless, secure, and highly reliable operations.
Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Operations, your mandate involves overseeing a technical team of specialists to guarantee the scalability and security of the foundational environment. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives, driving infrastructure programs that directly contribute to the company's competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a diverse team of IT professionals and manage strategic vendor relationships.
Develop and implement infrastructure methodologies that align with long term corporate goals.
Oversee the reliability and security of global data centers and networking environments.
Drive innovation and technical growth to support a rapidly expanding global footprint.
Foster a culture of development and excellence within the internal technology organization.
Requirements
Extensive experience in managing global IT infrastructure across cloud and physical datacenters.
Proven track record of leadership in networking, database management, and compute storage.
Ability to work on site in Morris Plains, New Jersey.
Strong background in aligning technical strategies with large scale business operations.
Prior experience in the specialty chemicals or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
