About the role
Families at Alpha Miami rely on trusted advisors across every aspect of their lives. You will become the one they've been seeking in their child's education.
When uncertainty arises, when intuition signals something isn't quite right, or when a meaningful moment deserves to be shared with someone who truly understands—you'll be the person they reach out to. Your depth of knowledge about each family will enable you to foresee their needs before articulation becomes necessary, and you'll possess both the discernment and composure to address whatever they bring to you with confidentiality, genuine care, and seamless professionalism. Over time, your role will transcend being merely part of their child's educational institution. You'll become woven into the very fabric of how they navigate this chapter of family life.
The private school landscape in Miami is compact, deeply interconnected, and intolerant of errors. What happens at Alpha doesn't remain contained—it circulates through the networks that hold influence: residential buildings, exclusive clubs, yachts, charity galas, and the WhatsApp channels that determine where the next wave of families will apply. You'll grasp this ecosystem intuitively, drawing on a career spent in environments where reputation serves as the sole form of capital and where a single mistake can overshadow years of excellence. Your mission is to cultivate a community that families regard as precious, where membership feels natural and referrals emerge organically from the quality of the experience itself.
Miami's character is inherently international. Your work will involve Latin American families, global executives, households from finance and technology who have recently relocated to Miami, and internationally mobile families whose perspectives on education—and institutions more broadly—have been formed by experiences well beyond conventional American private schooling. Many navigate between Miami, São Paulo, Bogotá, Madrid, and New York with the same ease others show crossing neighborhoods, and they will evaluate Alpha against alternatives across the globe. The ideal candidate will be equally adept at managing cross-cultural family dynamics—and the expectation of sophisticated, fluid interpersonal relationships—as they are at navigating the more recognizable dimensions of Miami's private school community.
Alpha operates outside traditional educational frameworks. Students complete core academic requirements in two hours daily through AI-powered applications, dedicating remaining time to public speaking, critical thinking, and applied real-world projects. No conventional lectures. No unnecessary assignments. Performance outcomes in the top 1% nationally.
The families selecting Alpha have made a deliberate choice—and in a city where educational decisions carry social weight and everyone holds strong opinions, they will face constant questions. Your role is to ensure they never struggle for a response. If sustaining that conviction through years of sophisticated, internationally-informed scrutiny feels overwhelming, this position isn't suitable. If it represents the most compelling professional conversation available to you, continue reading.
What You Will Be Doing
- Shape the cultural identity of the school community—establishing the tone, rituals, and implicit standards that foster genuine belonging—ensuring Alpha becomes a place families take pride in, not merely an institution they selected
- Manage the complete parent relationship lifecycle—from initial contact through enrollment, continued engagement, and lasting advocacy—allowing faculty to concentrate on students while families maintain a reliable point of trust
- Detect early signals when something feels misaligned, and address it with the discretion and judgment that preserves confidence—including the more difficult determination of when a family may not be an appropriate match
- Maintain visibility in the spaces families occupy: morning arrival, afternoon departure, evening gatherings, and the spontaneous conversations that carry the most significance

- The discretion and poise necessary to navigate sensitive, confidential matters without creating lasting complications
- Proven experience managing and developing personnel—providing coaching, maintaining elevated standards, and executing difficult staffing decisions—beyond simply managing relationships or client accounts
- Inherent cross-cultural competence across both globally mobile families and established Miami households
