Director of Community Outreach

About This Role

Leading outreach and business development efforts for a senior living community is the core of this role. You will build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, referral partners, and community organizations, helping prospective residents and their families discover what the community offers. This position suits someone passionate about networking, relationship building, and achieving results.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, hospice providers, and other referral sources
• Develop and implement outreach and marketing strategies to increase occupancy
• Represent the community at networking events, community programs, and local organizations
• Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to achieve occupancy goals
• Manage leads, referrals, and follow-up activity using CRM tools
• Monitor local market trends and identify opportunities to grow community awareness
• Deliver exceptional service to prospective residents, families, and professional partners

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business development, community outreach, sales, or marketing
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally for meetings and events
