Director of Architecture - ServiceNow

About This Role

This architecture leadership role at JPMorgan Chase involves driving the development and adoption of cloud-based technologies within the Digital Workflows Product Line. The Director of Architecture leads across multiple areas, manages various departments, and collaborates across business and technical domains to execute critical architectural initiatives. The role applies expertise cross-functionally to implement technical methods and keep the firm at the forefront of industry trends and technological advances.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple architecture and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide architecture objectives
• Directly manage multiple areas with strategic transactional focus
• Provide leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
• Act as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives while driving consensus across competing objectives
• Manage multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
• Champion the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise / Solution architecture in development and/or infrastructure organizations
• ServiceNow advanced certifications (CTA, CMA, etc.)
• Java, Database, Data Warehouse experience
• Ability to “think big” and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders
• Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies, services, and solutions
• Experience working within large global organizations
• Experience in managing delivery of complex technology solutions
