Director IT

About This Role

This strategic leadership role involves coordinating the company's entire technological infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT systems. The core objective is to drive the technological transition towards Industry 4.0, with the absolute priority of coordinating the strategic project for implementing the SAP S/4HANA ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Directly coordinate and fully manage the priority project for implementing and migrating to SAP S/4HANA across the entire group
• Define and implement the medium and long-term IT strategy, aligned with the company's production and commercial expansion objectives
• Optimize the current ERP architecture and ensure efficient integration of SAP modules (logistics, production, finance, traceability)
• Oversee hardware, software, and communication infrastructure (IT/OT) to guarantee 24/7 operational continuity of the plant
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and technological risk management
• Plan and manage the IT department budget (CAPEX and OPEX), monitoring cost efficiency and project ROI
• Negotiate and manage partnerships with SAP integrators, IT service providers, equipment, and license vendors
• Lead, evaluate, and professionally develop the internal team (SAP analysts, network administrators, developers)

Requirements

• University degree in IT, Automation, Computers, Cybernetics, or Management
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management position, ideally in a manufacturing company, heavy industry, or complex operational environment
• Demonstrated experience in managing ERP implementation or migration projects (practical expertise in the SAP ecosystem / launching SAP S/4HANA is an advantage)
• Solid knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud solutions, data security, and industrial system integration
• Excellent leadership, change management, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
