Director, Facilities

About This Role

This role is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all facility operations, including central plant systems, utilities, kitchens, mechanical equipment, pools, and critical building infrastructure. The Director will ensure the reliability and efficiency of all systems and lead maintenance and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure maintenance programs
• Ensure reliability of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water, life-safety, and utility systems
• Lead Kitchen, Mechanical, and Pool maintenance operations
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Manage energy efficiency initiatives
• Oversee infrastructure capital projects
• Maintain emergency response readiness for critical systems
• Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of:
  • Central plant operations
  • HVAC systems
  • Electrical distribution systems
  • Plumbing and water treatment systems
  • Life safety and fire protection systems
  • Building automation systems (BAS)
  • Mechanical equipment and pools
  • Commercial kitchen infrastructure
• Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Proven experience overseeing capital improvement projects and infrastructure upgrades
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, OSHA requirements, life safety codes, and environmental regulations
• Ability to lead emergency response and business continuity efforts for critical infrastructure systems
• Professional appearance consistent with company grooming, dress, and uniform policies
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five plus (5+) years of leadership experience managing large maintenance and engineering teams

Nice to have:

• Experience in a large integrated resort, casino, or hotel
• Experience with energy management, sustainability initiatives, and utility cost reduction programs
• Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting

• Schedule: varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
