We're looking for a Engineering Manager to join an innovative technology team in Galway. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering leader with a strong technical background and a proven track record of managing teams, delivering secure software products, and driving engineering excellence at scale.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of cybersecurity engineers, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Own the successful delivery of secure, scalable cloud-native products from planning through to production.
- Drive Secure SDLC best practices and ensure security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering leaders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership while enabling your team to make sound architectural and engineering decisions.
- Monitor engineering performance using data, metrics, and analytics to improve quality, delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Support strategic planning, resource management, and team growth while fostering career development and engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing and developing software or cybersecurity engineering teams.
- Strong background delivering complex technology products in an Agile environment.
- Demonstrated success building and delivering secure, cloud-native applications using Secure SDLC practices.
- Solid understanding of systems architecture, SDLC, Agile methodologies, AWS, and DevSecOps.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences.
- A data-driven mindset with experience using engineering metrics to improve delivery, quality, and team performance.
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing engineers while creating an inclusive and high-performing team culture.
