Salary Range: $200k – $235k base + 25% annual bonus

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Strategy Director to partner with senior leadership in driving enterprise-wide strategy, value creation, and long-range business planning. This role will lead high-impact strategic initiatives, solve complex business challenges, and translate ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable recommendations for senior executives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong executive communicator who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, work with incomplete or imperfect data, and make sound business decisions. This individual will lead a team of strategy professionals and work closely with Finance, Product Management, Corporate Development, and other cross-functional leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead long-range strategic planning and annual planning in partnership with Finance, Product, and business leadership.
- Evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, industry dynamics, and growth opportunities.
- Lead strategic initiatives addressing complex business and operational challenges across multiple functions and geographies.
- Support M&A, acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and corporate development activities through opportunity assessment, financial modeling, and market analysis.
- Develop hypotheses, analyze data from multiple sources, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
- Build compelling, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations for senior executives and business-unit leadership.
- Present complex strategies and recommendations to executive stakeholders and influence key business decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-priority strategic initiatives simultaneously.
- Provide strategic thought partnership to senior leadership and the broader Strategy organization.
- Identify opportunities for value creation, growth, operational improvement, and competitive advantage.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous and rapidly changing business environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, strategic planning, or a related field; 10+ years strongly preferred.
- Strong experience developing and executing enterprise-level strategic initiatives.
- Excellent PowerPoint and executive presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to C-suite and senior executive audiences.
- Advanced analytical, financial modeling, market research, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, business cases, and P&L fundamentals.
- Experience with M&A, corporate development, partnerships, or value creation preferred.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong project leadership and ability to manage multiple strategic priorities.
- Comfortable making decisions and developing recommendations when data is incomplete or ambiguous.
- MBA or equivalent Master's degree preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a 10+ year strategy professional with a strong background in management consulting and/or corporate strategy, ideally from a top-tier consulting organization or a complex global business.
They should be someone who can:
- Walk into an ambiguous business problem and quickly determine what matters.
- Create structure where there isn't one.
- Make sound recommendations even when the data isn't perfect.
- Build a compelling executive-level story in PowerPoint.
- Challenge senior leaders and confidently communicate a point of view.
- Translate analysis into concrete business decisions and actions.
- Lead strategic initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Navigate changing priorities without becoming overly dependent on process.
- Work effectively with Finance, Operations, Product, Corporate Development, and executive leadership.
