Directing automation for global engineering and manufacturing services is the core of this role, which has worldwide responsibility for the safe, reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of AbbVie's automated process control systems. This position suits a leader who can design and implement strategic technical programs and initiatives, as well as global processes, to ensure consistent service delivery and compliance. The Director acts as the main point of contact for manufacturing automation topics, including data integrity, system risks, mitigations and standardization, and guides long-term technology decisions and investments in automated process control.
