Dining Room Host/Hostess

The Dining Room Host/Hostess plays an important role in creating an exceptional experience for every guest who visits Chick-fil-A Winchester Rd. This position is focused on hospitality, cleanliness, guest engagement, and providing Second Mile Service.

Our Dining Room Hosts/Hostesses are often one of the most visible members of our team and are expected to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere while helping ensure our dining room remains clean, comfortable, and inviting.

Please note: This position requires availability between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Provide Second Mile Service and genuine hospitality to every guest.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile, positive attitude, and welcoming presence.
• Engage with guests and look for opportunities to create memorable experiences.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dining room, restrooms, entrance, and exterior guest areas.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, trays, and other guest-contact surfaces as needed.
• Perform frequent restroom checks and address cleanliness concerns promptly.
• Deliver meals to dine-in guests and assist with mobile orders when needed.
• Offer beverage refills and assist guests throughout their dining experience.
• Restock condiments, napkins, straws, and other dining room supplies.
• Sweep and mop dining room areas as needed.
• Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns and communicate with Leadership when additional assistance is needed.
• Follow restaurant attendance, call-out, and scheduling procedures.
• Maintain appearance and uniform standards in accordance with restaurant policies and applicable food safety requirements.
• Follow Chick-fil-A Pathway procedures, food safety standards, and restaurant policies.
• Work cooperatively with Team Members and Leadership to support restaurant operations.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift and carry approximately 5–50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Willingness and ability to work the schedule required for the position.

REQUIREMENTS

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
