Responsibilities and more:
Digital Marketing Manager
About Uptech:
-
Uptech is a technology company in the mobility space, rebuilding how fleets manage tolls and violations across the United States.
-
Our founders invented this industry: they created the first rental car tolling programs, built the platform that managed over 4 million vehicles at its peak, and sold that company in 2018.
-
We are building it again from scratch, on modern, AI-first technology, for fleets of every size.
-
We are an early-stage, fast-moving team spread across the Americas.
-
Everything we ship goes to real customers, quickly.
How We Work:
-
AI-enhanced, not AI-dependent. Everyone here uses AI daily to move faster, and everyone understands their work deeply.
-
Small team, real ownership. You will work with everyone, including the founders, from day one. No bureaucracy, no layers.
-
The details are the business. In our world, one wrong character in a license plate costs real money. We care about getting things right.
About the Role:
-
You will be our first marketing hire, and you will own the function end to end.
-
Building the plan and executing it yourself: there is no team under you yet, and the right person sees that as the opportunity it is.
-
We are looking for an entrepreneur at heart, someone who treats the function like their own business, leads it, and does the work.
-
You will take a company with a twenty-year story and a near-empty digital footprint, and make our presence match the team behind it.
-
We are remote, but this is a collaborative role: daily contact with leadership, our Head of Design, and the commercial team.
What Success Looks Like:
-
In your first 90 days: our LinkedIn presence is active and growing on a consistent cadence, the website tells our story properly, and the first paid campaigns are live against our SMB segments.
-
By six months: marketing is a lead source, not just a presence, and you have built the playbook you would hire your first team member into.
What You Will Do:
-
Build and own the marketing plan: channels, calendar, priorities, budget, and then execute it hands-on.
-
Run our LinkedIn presence end to end, both the company page and leadership profiles: content, posting, engagement, growth.
-
Own lead generation: campaigns, landing pages, funnels, and the tracking from click to conversation.
-
Plan and run paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, targeted at our customer segments as we go to market.
-
Build our presence in the communities where our SMB customers actually are, including industry Facebook groups.
-
Own the website: content, updates, careers page, and continuous improvement.
-
Direct our designer: brief the visuals, hold the brand bar, keep everything consistent.
-
Create and maintain marketing materials: one-pagers, decks, campaign assets, email campaigns.
-
Measure everything and report monthly: reach, followers, engagement, leads, what is working and what gets cut.
What We Are Looking For:
-
6+ years in digital marketing, with real B2B experience.
-
A builder's track record: you have started or owned a marketing function, not just operated inside one.
-
Proven lead generation experience: funnels, landing pages, and campaign-to-pipeline tracking.
-
Hands-on skills across the stack: content writing, social management, ad managers (Meta, LinkedIn), email marketing tools, CRM basics, CMS, analytics.
-
Commercial instincts: you think in customers and pipeline, not just impressions.
-
Exceptional English, written and spoken. Your writing represents us publicly, this is non-negotiable.
-
Experience briefing and directing designers.
-
Comfortable using AI tools as part of daily work.
-
Comfortable in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where not everything is documented yet.
Nice to Have:
-
Experience in mobility, transportation, logistics, or fintech.
-
Experience marketing to SMB owners and operators.
-
Video and motion content skills.
Details:
-
Remote (Americas), with availability during US Eastern business hours.
-
Full-time.
Why Join Now:
-
We are at the beginning.
-
The platform is being built now, the first enterprise customers are launching now, and the work you do this year becomes the foundation of everything after.
-
The people leading this company built the industry's defining platform once and are doing it again.
-
Uptech is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or veteran status.
