About the role
Role: Manages the daily operations of a Home Therapies program, ensuring quality patient care and program growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the safe delivery and training of home dialysis therapies, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.
- Manages program profitability by monitoring performance against budgets and KPIs.
- Directs patient care from admission to discharge, supporting staff and ensuring safe treatment delivery for patients with ESRD.
- Assesses patient and caregiver readiness, provides training, and evaluates home environment suitability.
- Enhances patient experience, supports satisfaction initiatives, and maintains staff competency and certifications.
- Manages supplies, equipment, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and data entry activities.
- Supports staff orientation, ongoing education, and participates in audits and projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure and CPR certification.
- Minimum one year dialysis experience, including peritoneal dialysis, with preferred supervisory experience.
- Leadership skills in communication, customer service, and quality improvement.
- Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and equipment handling.
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to infectious materials.
Supervision: Typically supervises non-exempt staff.
