Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care across the different clinical settings of the clinic
- Intervene based on the best scientific evidence, ensuring the implementation of quality standards
- Document nursing interventions in a timely manner
- Promote patient autonomy, empowerment of the patient and their family, and adherence to treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in and promote initiatives aimed at coordinating different levels of healthcare
- Actively participate in continuous improvement processes within the scope of professional practice
- Record incidents
- Promote and participate in national and international research programmes and projects
- Support the training and development of other professionals’ competencies
- Participate in the management and organisation of the nursing team’s work
- Resolve clinical and organisational issues
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing and a valid professional licence
- With or without experience in dialysis techniques
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English
- Knowledge of quality systems
- Personal competencies: Initiative; Critical thinking; Decision-making; Communication; Conflict management; Teamwork
