About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions primarily on AWS. Your expertise will be crucial in automating infrastructure provisioning, optimizing cloud performance, and ensuring compliance with security standards. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines, monitor cloud infrastructure, and implement best practices for infrastructure as code. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a fully remote environment, contributing to the digital transformation efforts of our clients and organization.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Linux administration and large‑scale systems management
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS infrastructure
- Proficiency with AWS services such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, IAM, KMS, and CloudFormation
- Hands‑on experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting within Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions on AWS that are scalable, secure, and highly available
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor AWS infrastructure and services, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement robust access controls utilizing IAM, KMS, and other AWS security services
- Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by automating workflows, adopting new tools, and refining operational processes
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and security protocols
