As a Device Engineer at STMicroelectronics, you will be responsible for the Yield & D0 improvement for the technology under your charge. You will analyze silicon data, support technology and product development, drive parametric yield and reliability improvements.

Your role

  • To analyse on zero yield wafers or low yield wafers so as to achieve yield improvement.
  • To resolve any process issues in collaboration with Modules and ensure smooth flow in the line to meet customer delivery.
  • To characterize all process windows to achieve process robustness.
  • Liaise with division teams from ADG/AMS/AMG/MDG and support technology and product transfer activities with compliance with the defined timelines
  • To liaise with Division in weekly conference call for yield/D0 update and yield master plan.
  • To conduct MRB meeting with Division about the disposition of SBL lot in weekly basis.

Requirements

  • Good acknowledge in semiconductor device physics (MOSFETs, BJTs, diodes, power devices)
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic engineering
  • Experience with electrical characterization equipment (parametric testers, curve tracers, SMUs, LCR meters, probers).
  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (front-end fabrication, diffusion, implantation, oxidation, lithography, etch, metallization).
  • Data analysis skills using tools such as JMP, Excel, or similar.
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
