Desktop Support Technician

About This Role

The IT Support Technician serves as the first line of support within the Information Technology department, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to learn from experienced professionals, develop valuable skills, and contribute to the smooth operation of the organization's technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line of support for user inquiries received via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot common technical problems related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals. Effectively utilize knowledge-base resources and established procedures to resolve user incidents.
• Document user interactions and incident details thoroughly and accurately.
• Participate in deploying new devices and updating software across the organization.
• Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the IT Support Specialist or appropriate teams for further resolution.
• Assist with basic IT asset management tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma (Required)
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education.

• Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Work format: 100% onsite expectation.
