Designer - Production Artist

Responsibilities

• Prepare print-ready artwork for packaging, POS, and related materials
• Build and finalize files including dielines, separations, finishes, and production layers
• Ensure all deliverables meet printer/vendor specifications and production standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Partner with designers, account teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution
• Conduct detailed preflight checks and troubleshoot technical issues
• Support and attend press checks to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical design or production artist role
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of print production, prepress workflows, and color management
• Experience producing packaging and/or POS materials
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
• Portfolio or work samples required demonstrating technical execution, print-ready files, and packaging/POS experience

Nice to have:

• Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or spirits industry
• Familiarity working alongside legal and regulatory teams, including applying government and compliance mandatories to packaging and label design
• Experience attending or supporting press checks
