Designer

About This Role

This role involves creating all graphic documents, including 3D models, 2D plans, process diagrams, and electrical diagrams, for various design phases. The Designer will manage modifications and updates, synthesize execution models, and ensure compliance with client requirements, reporting progress to the Project Manager. The position is suitable for a designer with 2-3 years of experience in a design or execution office.

Responsibilities

• Create all graphic documents, including 3D models, 2D plans derived from the model, process diagrams, and electrical diagrams (entered from specialist engineers' minutes) for all design phases: Diagnosis, Feasibility, Preliminary and Detailed Design, PRO-DCE
• Manage modifications and updates of produced graphic documents
• Synthesize execution models transmitted by execution companies, identify clashes, and participate in synthesis meetings with companies
• Ensure compliance of plans with specific client requirements
• Carry out all daily actions necessary for the smooth running of the project, including participation in coordination meetings, respecting deadlines, budget, and defined quality level
• Report on the progress of your work to your Project Manager
• Provide assistance and advice in your areas of technical expertise and participate occasionally in responses to calls for tenders

Requirements

• BTS or BUT degree
• Successful first experience in a design office in the energy and/or industry sectors
• Proficient in REVIT and AUTOCAD/BRISCAD software and 3D digital model creation
• Autonomous with good interpersonal skills
• Eager to develop skills and take on increased responsibilities in projects in the medium term
• Mobile in France and occasionally internationally
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing)

• Knowledge of BIM technologies and associated tools

The Department relies on a team of about twenty employees, mainly based in Lyon, and is organized around a Project Management pole and a Business pole covering process specialties (thermal, waste, H2) and support functions (civil engineering, general installation/designer, and electricity).
