Design Engineer

About This Role

Designing and validating the on-chip controller and mixed-signal circuitry in NAND FLASH chips is the core of this role within the FLASH Group. This position involves architecture development, product definition, detailed transistor-level design, test plan creation, system integration, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture and product definition
• Perform detailed transistor-level design
• Create test plans
• Conduct system integration and verification
• Design and implement controller hardware in RTL
• Design and develop firmware code for NAND internal operations
• Perform full-chip Verilog validation
• Use AI technologies to automate workflows and develop scalable processes that improve design execution

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in Verilog language
• Solid digital logic fundamentals
• Basic understanding of analog circuits
• Understanding and knowledge with mixed-mode design and validation
• Thorough understanding of Design/Verification CAD tools such as ncsim, Design Compiler, Formality, PrimeTime, etc.
• Knowledge of TCL or PERL

Nice to have:

• AI proficiency
• Knowledge in non-volatile memory design (NAND in particular)
• Knowledge of AI applications and tools
