Position Overview
The Assistant Designer Wovens & Swim will assist in weekly functions/tasks or project-based work covering the Woven & Swim design department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the research in the market as it pertains to product, trim and graphic/ techniques. Create inspiration boards.
- Collaborate with design team and partners to achieve goals within deadline
- Create CADs as directed
- Assist in the creation of design boards for design presentation to design leadership
- Board Review prepare stats
- Update sketches to match proto approval
- Update PLM with materials and sketch details
- Organize sample closet, seasonal binders, and references.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- Works with sense of urgency.
- Affinity and passion for the brand / category.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- 3D Design proficiency (preferred)
- Organized, thinking ahead, and positive
- Familiarity with AI-supported design tools and openness to learn
