[What the role is]
You will work as an Engineer in Tuas South Incineration Plant to maintain the building facilities.
[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the following:
- Lead a group of technical officers to oversee the general maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and cleaning of the facility
- Manage security and fire fighting system within the premises
- Lead and coordinate review on Workplace Safety and Health issues
- Call and administer tenders/contract related to facilities management, building maintenance and safety, while ensuring compliance with NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
[What we are looking for]
Job Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in government procurement and contract administration, including drafting of tender documents will be an added advantage.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lead, interact and foster teamwork
- Good problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills
- Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in using IT equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office, etc.
