Deputy Manager/Manager - Projects

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility study at selected sites alongside the design, RE & licensing teams

• Support finance team in creation of CAPEX documentation (construction budget to include design, licenses and interior)

• Create feasibility report basis observations as part of the Site Approval Package

• Ensure adherence to the project plan

• Conduct kick-off meeting on project site with all vendors, contractors and internal teams

• Ensure compliance to security and safety standards at project site

• Manage construction issues with respective stakeholders

• Coordinate with procurement as well as equipment teams to ensure on time delivery of material and equipment respectively to site

• Conduct mid-construction reviews to ensure construction is as per plan and all relevant certifications, licenses, etc. are in hand

• Manage changes in designs with the Design team

• Ensure that PMC vendors working on multiple sites adhere to the project plan

• Assist site engineers with any problems they encounter while working on sites

• Ensure adherence to the CAPEX for project construction

• Conduct final review of site before operations handover

• Minimise the number of items on the snaglist

• Ensure all items on the snaglist are corrected within 7 days of walkthrough

• Develop team to ensure critical tasks are completed as per project plan

• Develop trainers within team to manage multiple store construction simultaneously and reduce dependence on external vendors
