About This Role
This role is for a sports enthusiast who wants to build a winning team and grow their career in the retail sector. The Department Manager leads a team, drives commercial activity, and ensures a unique customer experience both in-store and digitally. You will be a key figure in promoting sport and sustainability in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Develop the qualities of your team members to foster individual and team growth, creating an unbeatable team
- Be the point of reference for the selection and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they become an integral part of the Decathlon family
- Apply your passion for sport to serve customers, clubs, and schools in your area, bringing the Decathlon experience to the heart of local sport
- Guide customers through a unique purchasing experience, both in the physical store and through the digital channel
- Be the main coach for commercial activity, managing the budget and making strategic decisions with your team to achieve set objectives
- Organize resources efficiently to meet the needs of customers and athletes, ensuring they have all the equipment they need to win on the field
- Promote environmental sustainability through the 4 R strategy (reduce, reuse, recycle, repair), playing an active role in environmental protection
