Dental Hygienist

About This Role

Working at Atlantic Dental Centre means joining a dedicated and experienced team in a state-of-the-art facility, focused on providing top-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care services, performing clinical preventative hygiene, and educating patients on oral health.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour

Requirements

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Important Details

• Schedule: full-time hours, four or five days per week, Monday - Saturday shifts available
