Demand Planner

About This Role

The Demand Planner supports the daily planning and replenishment of the warehouse assortment, ensuring the right balance between product availability and inventory. This role involves hands-on work with demand forecasts, replenishment, purchase orders, inventory levels, and planning exceptions, acting as an important link between various departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update demand forecasts based on sales history, trends, customer input, and changes in demand
• Plan replenishment and ensure timely ordering of products for the warehouse assortment
• Follow up on open purchase orders, delivery dates, and expected incoming supply
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages, excess inventory, and availability risks
• React to changes in demand and supply and adjust plans accordingly
• Follow up on service level, forecast accuracy, inventory, and other operational planning KPIs
• Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations to resolve day-to-day planning and availability issues
• Maintain high-quality planning parameters and master data
• Support improvements to planning processes, systems, and ways of working

Requirements

• Experience within demand planning, replenishment, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain planning
• Comfortable working with numbers, data, and planning systems
• Structured approach to managing priorities and following up on deviations
• Structured, proactive, persistent, and solution-oriented
• Takes ownership of their area, follows issues through to resolution, and communicates clearly with colleagues and stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with ERP systems, forecasting or replenishment tools, and Excel
