About This Role
Developing and continuously improving demand forecasts and inventory planning is the core of this role, which connects data and forecasting with warehouse operations. The Demand Planner will translate demand forecasts into practical actions for warehouse and supply chain planning, ensuring the network is prepared for changing demand while supporting stores and Direct-to-Consumer operations across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve demand forecasts and inventory planning
- Collaborate with operational (warehouse) teams and strategic (planning and allocation) teams to align demand and inventory levels
- Support the further development of S&OP processes, including preparing and leading meetings
- Analyze performance KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Monitor data quality and optimize processes and systems
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain planning, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on attitude
- Comfortable working with large datasets (Excel, ERP/WMS systems; forecasting tools is a plus)
- Strong communication skills; able to collaborate across multiple departments
- Proactive, structured, and solution oriented
- Fluent in verbal and written communication in Dutch and English
