Delivery Manager

About This Role

Driving the delivery of frontend development teams is the core of this role, adapting work dynamics to Scrum and Kanban methodologies. The position suits a proactive and decisive individual with strong operational leadership skills, capable of anticipating problems and facilitating collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of frontend development teams, adapting work dynamics to Scrum and Kanban teams
• Facilitate the Agile dynamics and ceremonies necessary for the proper functioning of the teams
• Actively monitor the workflow, anticipating blocks, tasks with longer-than-expected execution times, bottlenecks, dependencies, risks, and deviations
• Remove impediments and facilitate necessary decisions so that teams can advance and meet their objectives
• Work closely with Product Owners in planning, prioritizing, and managing the impact of new needs or priority changes on delivery
• Promote focus and adequate management of work in progress, favoring completion over the accumulation of open tasks
• Foster collaboration, autonomy, and shared responsibility within the teams
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that recurring problems generate concrete actions and sustainable improvements
• Actively manage dependencies with other teams and areas, facilitating the resolution of blocks and escalating when necessary
• Coordinate deliveries and anticipate possible risks that may compromise deadlines, scope, or quality
• Facilitate communication between Development, Product Owners, UX/UI, and other stakeholders
• Support teams in planning and estimating work, respecting the team's technical autonomy
• Detect opportunities for improvement and facilitate decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or in equivalent positions working directly with software development teams
• Demonstrable experience in operational leadership of development teams
• Practical experience working with Scrum and Kanban
• Demonstrable ability to detect problems, remove impediments, and proactively manage dependencies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coordinate, and facilitate collaboration within teams
• Ability to manage conflict situations and facilitate agreements
• Results-oriented, continuous improvement, and teamwork focus
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle

Nice to have:

• Experience working with web/frontend development teams
• Knowledge of the CI/CD ecosystem, automated testing, and software quality practices
• Formal training in computer science or similar
