**Role Description<

The Delivery Driver role at Coastal Chemical is a full-time, on-site position based in Oklahoma City, OK. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading chemical products and related materials to customer locations and company sites, following all safety regulations and company procedures. This role includes completing delivery documentation, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The Delivery Driver will inspect vehicles and equipment, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any issues to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards. The role may also involve assisting with warehouse tasks such as staging orders, operating material-handling equipment, and supporting inventory control as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Experience with forklift operation or other material-handling equipment in a warehouse or industrial environment.
  • Ability to participate in and support training activities, including safety and operational procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience (CDL) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle inspections and adherence to transportation and safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift and move materials safely, and work in an industrial and outdoor environment.
  • Reliable time management skills and attention to detail in documentation and routing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in delivery, logistics, or chemical distribution is a plus.**
