About This Role
Delivering chemicals and supplies to restaurants on established routes is the primary responsibility of this role. Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and deliver chemicals and supplies to restaurant customers
- Complete assigned delivery routes accurately and efficiently
- Verify delivery quantities and maintain accurate invoices and records
- Safely handle and unload chemical containers
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle
- Stay on schedule with all truck maintenance, reporting any lights on and adhering to oil change schedules (company pays for all maintenance and service)
- Communicate customer concerns, product needs, or equipment issues to management
- Assist with warehouse duties and inventory as needed
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and delivery schedules
- Learn the operation of commercial dishwashing equipment
- Check and maintain chemical dispensing systems
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on dishmachines
- Troubleshoot equipment and chemical delivery issues
- Develop customer relationships and manage an assigned service route
- Advance into a Route/Service Technician position
Requirements
- Valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in learning equipment maintenance is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

Important Details
- Schedule: Normal business hours during the week from 7am - 5pm routinely, with some weekend hours expected
- Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
