Delivery Consultant - Security

About This Role

Delivering cloud security solutions to customers is the core of this role within the Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team. You will work closely with customers to implement, automate, and manage AWS solutions to protect customer assets, enable customer security teams to operate more effectively, and ensure customers don’t accept unnecessary risk. This position suits a skilled Cloud Security Consultant with a deep understanding of AWS products and services.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems independently
• Collaborate with others to define and implement solutions
• Escalate risks with options, impact, and recommended solutions
• Act as an established expert in at least 1 technology domain
• Implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery

Requirements

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
• 3+ years in automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code

Nice to have:

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience
• Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty)
• Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM)
