Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily class functions for a group of children, providing a calming and welcoming atmosphere
  • Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
  • Implement approved lesson plans and the daily classroom schedule
  • Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergency situations
  • Must pass a state and federal background check
  • CPR certified or willingness to obtain before starting
  • Food safe certified or willingness to obtain before starting
  • Reliable transportation
