Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities
• Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience
• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles
• Experience in daycare or early childhood education settings
• Ability to provide infant care with compassion and attention to detail
• Proficient in behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs
• Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing individual needs
• Ability to engage toddlers through creative play and educational activities
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

Nice to have:

• First aid certification
• Experience working with students with disabilities
