About This Role
This role is for a Data Visualization Specialist who will lead the development of analytics use cases from problem definition to delivery, focusing on data preparation, engineering, visualization, and stakeholder engagement. The position involves designing and building advanced Tableau dashboards and translating business needs into analytical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of analytics use cases, from problem definition to delivery and adoption
- Translate business needs into clear analytical requirements and technical specifications
- Drive solution design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and usability
- Identify, source, and integrate relevant data from multiple systems
- Prepare, clean, and structure data using tools such as SQL, Python, or Dataiku
- Collaborate with data engineering and modeling teams to ensure robust data pipelines and data quality
- Design and build advanced Tableau dashboards tailored to business needs
- Apply best practices in data visualization, usability, and storytelling
- Continuously improve existing dashboards based on user feedback and evolving requirements
- Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, managing expectations and driving alignment
- Communicate insights clearly through presentations and regular updates
- Support decision making by translating data into actionable insights
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering analytics solutions in complex environments
- Advanced expertise in Tableau, including dashboard design, performance optimization, and data storytelling
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and user-centric design
- Solid working knowledge of SQL for data querying, transformation, and validation
- Working knowledge of Python (or similar) for data preparation and complementary analysis
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proactive mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile or iterative environment
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field
