Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and translate them into visually compelling and user-friendly data solutions
- Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Looker, Power BI, and Qlik Sense
- Optimize data models and performance tuning for dashboards to ensure efficiency and scalability
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity while implementing best practices in data visualization and storytelling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to define and implement visualization solutions
- Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in data visualization tools and techniques
- Provide training and guidance to business users on leveraging visualization tools effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence
- Expertise in Looker, Power BI, and Qlik Sense with hands-on experience in developing and optimizing dashboards
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling to integrate and manipulate data sources effectively
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS
- Familiarity with DAX (Power BI), LookML (Looker), and Qlik Scripting
- Understanding data governance, security, and compliance in data visualization
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in any one of the tools Looker, Power BI, or Qlik Sense
